Boys and Girls Club- Be Great Academy

Jackson School’s after school Boys and Girls Club offers students the opportunity to receive help with homework and special assignments and to participate in fun activities. Students also enjoy a snack and playtime. The afterschool program is scheduled from 2:30 pm-6:00 pm each school day.

Jackson School students returned by a school bus and/or not picked up by 3:00pm will be sent to the school's after school program as a part of the Safety Net program. On the first occurrence, parents/guardians will be asked to complete the Safety Net emergency contact forms and reminded that after school care is available. On the second occurrence, parents/guardians will again be encouraged to consider enrolling the student in after school care. The third occurrence of a child being sent to the Safety Net program, will result in the parent/guardian being charged the current daily drop in rate for after school care and encouraged to enroll the student in the after school program. Occurrences beyond three and the child is not enrolled in the school's after school program will be considered as child abandonment. There are many resources available to parents/guardians that are in need of assistance with care for their children. Please contact the school's Administration or Director of After School for further assistance.
